If you're a professional author, please feel free to join the public user group "Professional authors" so that you are identified as such in your forum conversations.
We love to have you on board. To join the group simply
Make sure your e-mail ID in your registration profile is your official e-mail ID. The e-mail domain should be your official website.
Navigate to the user Control Panel by clicking the user CP link.
Down on the left sidebar click the "Group memberships".
Click the link "Join group" for professional authors.
Your request will need to be approved first. We might send you an e-mail to confirm your identity before you are accepted into the group.
Once your join request is accepted, go the "Group memberships" and click on "Set as display group" to set your user title as "professional author".
Please join only if you are a published, professional author.
There are no extra privileges associated with the membership of this group. If anybody is discovered trying to impersonate a real author their privileges on this forum will be removed.

The total post count showing over 11,000 posts was a glitch in the forum software when we converted over from vbulletin. I'm sure a few regular members would have been surprised at the sudden jump in post count (if they happened to notice).
Now the issue is fixed and the post count is brought back to its original count. This is just a heads up to let you know so you aren't alarmed that we've suddenly gone crazy and deleted posts.
On the positive side, we do have something to celebrate when we actually REACH the 5 figure mark.
To all those who have participated in LiteraryForums.org, a big thank you!

I had earlier announced the re-creation of the Toons and Comics community. Now, we've restored the earlier Toons and comics community from the original database of members.
The full forum discussions from the past is now available!
I hope you will enjoy Toon And Comics v2 as much as you did the original version.
